I am an experienced and caring advocate for Southern Californians who need a fresh financial start. My background in public service and children’s rights law has given me the experience to serve struggling consumers and their families with compassion and empathy. I received my Bachelor’s degree from Chapman University and my J.D. from Whittier Law School. At Whittier, I helped to found the Children’s Rights Clinic and served as an extern at the Public Law Center. While in law school, I volunteered at the Share Ourselves legal clinic to provide legal assistance to indigent residents of Orange County.

My experience working in public service throughout my law school career extends into my work as a dedicated debt negotiation and bankruptcy lawyer today. Since 2002, I have taught paralegals and law students in Southern California, and spent time serving clients as a criminal defense attorney and appellate attorney. Prior to starting my own firm I was in charge of the Bankruptcy Department at a Bankruptcy and Consumer Rights law firm. I am licensed to practice law in the State of California, and I am admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of California, and the U.S. District Court for the Southern, Central, Eastern, and Northern Districts of California. I am a member of the American Bar Association, the Orange County Bankruptcy Forum, and the Orange County Bar Association, where I belong to the Commercial and Bankruptcy section, and the Solo and Small Firm section.

As a compassionate advocate for members of my community, I spend much of my free time providing volunteer legal services to those in need. I volunteer with the Bankruptcy Clinic for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, the Public Law Center in Orange County, and the Veterans Legal Clinic in Orange County. As a lawyer who is committed to providing legal representation to individuals and families regardless of their socioeconomic status, I believe that your income level should never dictate your ability to have an experienced and empathetic attorney on your side.
